Multiplier Events in Italy
On October 17, 2023 the pupils of the classes IV C and IV D of the high school A. Labriola of Naples, Italy, together with their teacher in science Silvia Maria Lippo carried out two educational activities on seismology with the Italian manager of the SEISMO-Lab project. In particular, they exploited the data recorded by the seismometer installed in the premise of their school and available on the SEISMO-Lab platform to measure in experimental way the velocity of P waves of seismic shocks generated in the pyroclastic rocks of the Phlegrean Fields volcanic complex.
Here are some multimedia realized by the pupils after the experience.
